Secrets To Closing High Ticket Sales With YouTube Ads

In this video, I’m gonna do is breakdown for you step by step exactly how we get total strangers online to pay us three, five, and even $7,000 coming straight off an ad right into our bank accounts. Now I remember when I first got started online, I was working with local businesses, or I was working with creators who were really small and selling smaller products that cost a couple of hundred bucks. I was hearing about these people who were selling high ticket offers through paid ads. So, people that were selling like 5, 7, 10K offers just through running ads. And I was mind blown. I could not figure out how somebody would do this. And fast forward to today, this is pretty much what all of my clients do. I’ve been in a lot of really great masterminds where this is what we focus on.

I get to see every day how we set up the systems to get total strangers online to watch an ad, go through a sales process, and then give us three, five, and $10,000. So really quick, what type of offers does this work with? Well, the people I have seen this work best with are people who are selling like high ticket coaching consulting. They have high ticket courses or programs, even some done for you services and product high services. Now, the most important thing to get started with is our actual funnel. So what is the sales mechanism that we are using to do this? Well, if you wanna get someone to pay you like three, five, $7,000, you are probably not going to do that without getting someone on the phone. And so the funnel that we actually use for this is a VSL sales call funnel.

The way these are set up is pretty standard. So if someone clicks on our ad, they go to a landing page, that landing page is going to have a headline, some copy, it’s going to pre-frame the right people, get the right people to actually opt into something. On the very next page, we’ve got a short video here. So I’ve seen these VSLs be as little as 13 minutes. We’ve got VSLs right now that are running, which is as long as 35 minutes. The whole point of the BSL is really to sell someone on the idea of the program and the outcome so we can get them working with us, getting a VSL done and done right is a whole skill and strategy in itself. There are a lot of experts out there who make a really good living just by making VSLs. This is probably the most important part of your funnel.

The real power here is going to come in your VSL and actually get your VSL to convert. So this is really where you need to spend the most time and energy in your funnel and the most time and energy in your sales process, making sure that you have a great VSL. At the end of that VSL, the call to action here is to get on the phone with someone on our sales team. And so what we want this funnel to actually be producing is sales calls. We want someone to go through this funnel. And then the ultimate thing that we are looking for from this funnel as far as a KPI is that we are getting a good volume of calls coming through at an acceptable cost per call. I show you what it looks like, the follow-up strategies, and all that stuff. So definitely check that out up here. Once we’ve got the funnel all set up, then we just have to start getting traffic to this funnel. The two best places that we have found to get traffic for high ticket sales like this are YouTube ads and Facebook ads both will work for the right business. It’s really all about making sure you have the right strategy and the right messaging and the right people inside of the ads manager in order to make this stuff work. Really the most important thing, no matter what platform you’re on, is your creative strategy.

So it’s really making sure that you have the right messaging and the right ads that are going out and getting the right people’s attention. We want to reframe, pre-qualify and pre-sell them on what is going to happen after they click on that ad and then we get them into our funnel. Now, if someone’s come off our ad, they’ve gone through our funnel, they’ve actually booked a call with us, and now they’re in the hands of the sales team. Again, having a sales team is a whole process in itself. So there are some really good trainers here online that do sales teams, and I’m not gonna dig so much into the actual sales process here, but you really need to make sure you have a good sales team. And most teams these days that are doing high ticket sales have two people on their sales team that are really important.

We’ve got our closers and our setters. So our setters are the people who are actively reaching out to people who opt into the funnel but don’t book a call or people who book a call but don’t seem qualified. The setters are the people reaching out to those guys. The closers are the people who are actually taking calls with people, actually selling them into the program, taking payment, and then following up with everybody who doesn’t buy and making sure that they build a pipeline of people they can follow up with so that if they don’t buy right now but they wanna buy 3, 6, 9 months from now, we’ve got actual people who are following up in that process and making that happen. So that’s really the nuts and bolts of how we’re getting these high ticket sales, right? We’ve got traffic running on YouTube and Facebook. We’re sending them through a VSL sales call funnel with the goal of getting them to book a call with someone on the sales team.

And then at the very end, we put them in the hands of the sales team. How can we convert even more traffic? So once we’ve got all of that set up, the next big system and the next big piece of this that we really need to focus on is our email marketing. So we will see anywhere from like 30 to 35% of our calls and our sales coming through our email marketing system. Most people who click on an ad and go to a VSL are not going to book a call. If you have a really killer VSL, you still might only be converting about five to 10, maybe 15% of the people who opt-in to actually book a call with your sales team because most people aren’t ready to work right now, like they don’t wanna move forward right this moment. That doesn’t mean they’re not in the market, they’re not thinking about it and they’re not gonna be moving forward on something like this later.

And so email marketing is a really powerful system that we want to make sure that we have in place. And so the way our email marketing typically works with this, we have an automated sequence that is following up with people two to three times a week for the first two to three weeks when someone opts in. So this is usually like 20 to 30 emails that we have in an automated sequence. And we are hitting people pretty hard once they opt-in to make sure that they understand everything that they need to know about the opportunity and who we are and how we work and the kind of results we get and all of that stuff. It’s actually driving people to get on a call with someone on the sales team if they don’t book a call through that automation, the next thing that we’re doing is just putting them into basically like our email newsletter list. So we are sending out two to three valuable emails every single week. We’re showing people what kind of results we get from other clients. We’re giving people valuable bonus training. We’re giving people different ways to think about things and showing them the problems that they’re experiencing and how we help solve those problems. We’re talking about the different unique parts of our program and how we solve things differently. Really just providing as much value as we can. And we will email people forever until they unsubscribe or book a call with a sales team because if they already opted in, we’re assuming that they’re probably a good fit for our program.

They just weren’t ready right now. They don’t have enough information, they don’t sell on us. And so those are the kinds of things we want to address as we’re emailing them. The next and last big thing that you can do to convert even more traffic from your paid ads is to have a really good organic content strategy. Everybody online is really smart these days. No one is just jumping on the phone with somebody that they clicked on an ad from and then giving them $5,000 without doing a little bit of research. And so one of the worst things you can do is run a bunch of ads and then when someone opens a new tab after seeing your ad and Googles you, they find nothing.

We really wanna make sure we have a really good organic presence because what that will do is once people start researching you, that will build up trust and they’ll be able to go and do some research, consume more of your content, and they’ll be more sold on actually wanting to work with you. And this is what’s gonna drive people to book a call. And this is actually gonna help increase the conversions of your paid ads. And if you’re doing a really good job, what will happen is people will see your ads, they won’t be ready to move forward right now, but they’ll find you online and they’ll start subscribing to your organic channels. So your paid ads will actually feed your organic channels. And because people are opting in through your funnel, your paid ads are actually drawing your email list as well. And then if you’re doing a really good job with your email marketing, you’re sending people the organic content that you’re creating to your email list.

So what you’ve got is your paid ads are feeding your email list and your social media, your email is feeding your social media, and it’s also increasing conversions of your paid ads because you’re sending people who have opted in reasons to book a call. And then your organic content is helping boost the trust that you have, your paid traffic is converting better, and you can also push people through your organic content to subscribe to your email list, your paid traffic, your organic content, and your email list are all working together to boost each other. And that’s how you build an audience and build a great reputation over time. All right, so that is it. That is the whole system.
